ON THE PROPERTY
Commanding views across the rugged eastern coastline, just taking a look out of the windows offers a view of nature seldom seen. Stepping out of the tended grounds you find yourself exploring a largely natural landscape.
WITHIN 1 HOUR
If you are up for a bit of a hike, the Lutregala Creek Forest Reserve is well worth exploring. If you prefer to drive, then Simpsons Bay is less than an hour away by car.
LITTLE BIT FURTHER
If you have the time to explore a little further afield, you defiantly have to visit the Bruny Island Neck Game Reserve. This single area has a number of different habitats including coast, marsh, and forest.
Close to the property you will find a coastline alive with birdlife, and decorated by many types of coastal plants. Dolphins can also be seen at some times of the year. The forest parks offer a glimpse into the natural habitat of many of Tasmania’s best-known species.
