You will notice that our reviews only go to August 2015 - this because after 87 reviews over the last 6 years, enough is enough - we no longer bother our guests to review our property as it is not required anymore - we have never had an unhappy group and if anyone's stay was to turn out horrendous, we would refund their money anyway - but that has never happened and never will happen....
The ENTIRE street and ground floor levels including wrap around balconies, all the backyard, heated spa and secure two car garage (with internal access) is provided for your family friendly and secure stay - just 10 metres from the public access laneway to Hargraves Beach.
The top level of the house is separate and completely self-contained with it's own laundry, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, house access, garage entrance and private access. Occupied permanently by owners; Ian & Lyn McCallum, they provide additional security with ON-SITE care-taking and ANYTIME CHECK-IN. Privacy is strictly assured and no need to pick up or drop off keys from another location.
Please note: the maximum number of guests is 12 + 2 INFANTS - if there are small children, we can be a little flexible but maximum adults is 12 - Also note that we have 3 booking periods; WEEK, WEEKEND and MID WEEK, you cannot pick one day from any or each of these periods. For example, a Thursday and Friday night booking without Saturday night would not be accepted. - A BOOKING STARTING FROM SATURDAY WOULD HAVE THE FIRST TWO NIGHTS CHARGED AT WEEKEND RATE.
Large groups of adults are only accepted on the basis that they respect our neighbours and abide by our responsible noise and use of alcohol policy. Family groups, retreats and birthday reunions and anniversaries are our preference, but amazingly we have has several adult groups that did respect our neighbours and abided by our rules - it is lovely to have so many sensible guests....
The house has ocean views from the kitchen and 12 seat dining room as well as both lounge areas. Proximity to the beach, the range and quality of European kitchen and bathroom fittings, fixtures and appliances are second to none. Enter from the secure double lock up garage with internal stair access to the home.
We are located at Hargraves Beach on the upper NSW Central Coast of Australia on Elizabeth Drive, Noraville, on the only street with a beach front north of The Entrance and south of Newcastle - about an hour's drive from Sydney (15 minutes to the house from the M1 Motorway Toukley/Warnervale Interchange, 15 minutes south of Newcastle and 45 minutes from the Hunter Valley's wine region. An off-the-main-road and quiet central location.

We have a low noise policy and ask you to respect the neighbours, a fee will apply if we receive complaints from our neighbours. You the person making the booking, are responsible for the conduct of every guest at this property. This is a NON SMOKING residence and NO smoking is allowed indoors, if you wish to smoke please do so outdoors.
All cutlery and linen supplied - including laundry and kitchen detergent, shower gel, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls, coffee and tea starter pack - no need to bring water as fridges have filtered water and ice on tap.

20% deposit payable at time of booking and balance payable a few days before arrival. Payment by direct bank transfer, Paypal, Stayz online payment system or by cash is accepted.
Unauthorised Parties and Functions are prohibited and may result in loss of your bond, eviction and/or additional payments. We have zero tolerance to anti-social behaviour, excessive noise and alcohol related irresponsibility. Laughter is not considered noise...
Beach access is opposite the house leading to a sheltered, family-friendly beach. Hargraves Beach is protected by 5 reefs creating calmer conditions, ideal for children. There are also patrolled surf beaches a short distance away at Lakes Beach and Soldiers Beach. Nearby Cabbage Tree Harbour has a tidal rock pool and small sheltered beach suitable for young children.
Jenny Dixon Beach has a park and a public picnic (BBQ's) area within 5 minutes walking distance.
Lake Macquarie, Budgewoi Lake & Tuggerah Lake are nearby and are ideal for water sports and fishing. There are also cycling and walking paths along almost the entire sections of these lakes

Although we do not allow pets, there is a nearby Pet Motel 7km away that is recommended by our local vet. (All Paws Pet Motel Lake Munmorah) Prices are about $35 per night.
