Girraween Environmental Lodge Details

Always that few degrees less than the hot coastal weather, little to no humidity, a cool breeze, wildlife and acres for the kids to explore. Get the kids off the mobiles and computers and have them running around outside. Check out mother natures amazing wildflower displays, granite outcrops begging to be climbed or just laze in the pool or on your veranda.
As always Tasman and I are looking forward to seeing all our regulars and excited to meet our new first time guests. Don't forget to get in early for our Sizzling Summer season. Come on out and book for the cooler climate of our summer, with rock pools to swim in, temperatures up to 3 - 6 degrees less than your beach and city temps and no sand! Take a cool Granite Belt break for the summer and chill out.
Not far from the Queensland-New South Wales border, Girraween National Park has more in common with cooler southern climates than with the Sunshine State. Crisp winter weather provides skies of blue and picturesque morning frosts. Spring conditions entice an amazing display of wildflowers and wildlife.
Be prepared for cold changes any time. Girraween National Park is pleasantly cool most of the year round. Winters are usually dry and cold with frosty nights reaching an average minimum of -4 degrees Celsius. Summer days are a warm 25-30 degrees Celsius with cooler nights averaging 15-18 degrees Celsius. Most rain falls between November and March with an average rainfall of 850mm per year.
