St Helens Accommodation

On average you’ll pay 10% less compared to other sites for booking St Helens Accommodation on Wild Escapes.
St Helens is the largest town on Tasmania’s northeastern coast with about 2000 residents. Numbers rise in the summertime when holidaymakers arrive, attracted by the wonderful beaches and numerous seafood restaurants. Overlooking the beautiful St. George’s Bay, the town is noted for its oysters and also for big game fishing – catches include marlin, yellowfin tuna and for those willing to give trapping a try, lobsters. It offers all the services of a busy town and yet it retains a laid-back feel, which seems to suit both visitors and locals alike.
There are wonderful walks to be had around the bay area – don’t miss the spectacular Peron Dunes at Beer Barrel Beach. There’s also golf, a small museum, river fly fishing and a 90-metre high waterfall located 35km to the west. Luxury accommodation is some of the best in Tasmania, and there are plenty of good restaurants and cosy cafes to choose from. Highly recommended is The Bay Bar and Bistro for its seafood and fabulous views across the bay.
