There are a number of good restaurants in town, although the selection is somewhat limited. You should be able to find something to your taste before heading home to your luxury holiday accommodation at the end of the evening.
There are a limited number of shops in Megalong Valley, many of those that do exist offer locally produced craft products. However, predominantly it is the locally produced farm products that are on sale.
