Deloraine Accommodation

On average you’ll pay 10% less compared to other sites for booking Deloraine Accommodation on Wild Escapes.
Away from the coast in central northern Tasmania is Deloraine. This charming riverside town has many historic buildings from the Georgian and Victorian eras and it’s a pretty place to stroll through. Set in the foothills of the Great Western Tiers mountain range, the town is an excellent base from which to explore Cradle Mountain, the limestone caves at Mole Creek, the nearby waterfalls, and the many other natural wonders to be found in Tasmania’s central highlands.

In November Deloraine hosts a 4-day long craft fair during which the town’s population swells by 30,000. Even outside of festival time the town has a very arts and crafts feel with numerous galleries, workshops and handicraft shops.

Dining options are excellent – the area produces award-winning salmon, cheeses, honey and berries. Especially recommended is Cruzin’ in the 50’s – an eclectic American style diner. Luxury accommodation options abound, to suit most tastes.
