Wollemi Retreat Details

Overview

Perfect for a weekend getaway, Wollemi Retreat is hidden just three hours from Sydney on 100 acres of native bushland in the north western area of the Wollemi National Park.

An off the grid hideaway, Wollemi Retreat is an award winning architecturally designed eco retreat. Allow yourself and your close ones to immerse in a self–sustaining luxurious environment with a rain harvested water supply and 100 per cent solar power. Here you will enter a world of grandeur, in our Wollemi Wilderness abode, easily accommodating up to six adults.

The main bedroom’s ensuite steals the show with a unique free standing bath and an overhead rainfall shower. Shower and bath are cleverly combined with a floor to ceiling window letting you take in the breathtaking views from across the valley.

Floor to ceiling glass at the front of the house commands your gaze, with time standing still in view of the awe - inspiring mountain ranges, stretching on for miles. A notable part of the stay for our guests is how each bedroom showcases stirring views of the famous Wheelbarrow Mountain.

Relax with a bottle of your favourite red in our central lounge room, sharing a rustic double sided fireplace as your backdrop. Our creatively planned kitchen is bolstered by all the mod cons including a SMEG oven, cook top, espresso machine, juicer, blender, BBQ and stone wood fired pizza oven.

To take your secluded wilderness experience to another level, the sprawling deck to the front of the house hosts an inbuilt Jacuzzi. The extravagant Jacuzzi is sized for each of the six visitors and bubbles at a toasty forty degrees, allowing you to relax, switch off and take in the surrounding views.

Reawaken your inner Zen in Australia’s untouched wilderness in NSW’s Wollemi National Park and stay at Wollemi Retreat. Wild Escapes promise you will not leave disappointed or want to leave at all.
